Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how WOWCODED THINGS LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Video to GIF: Loop Maker iPhone app (the “App”).

The App does not require an account. We do not collect personal data, use advertising SDKs, track you, or send your videos to our servers.

Videos and Photos

When you choose a video, the App accesses that item only so it can create the GIF you requested. Video decoding, trimming, frame selection, GIF creation, and compression happen locally on your device. We cannot view or receive the selected video or the resulting GIF.

If you choose Save to Photos, the App requests permission to add the resulting GIF to your photo library. You can also share the GIF using Apple’s system share sheet. Any app or service you select in that share sheet handles the shared file under its own privacy policy.

Working files are stored temporarily on your device for conversion and sharing. iOS and the App remove or replace temporary files as part of normal operation. Files you explicitly save remain where you saved them until you delete them.

Settings and Free Uses

The App stores preferences, welcome-screen state, and the number of successful free conversions locally on your device. Access state is also stored locally using Apple’s Keychain so the five-use limit and lifetime unlock can work reliably. We do not receive this local information.

Purchases

The optional lifetime purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment-card or billing details. The App receives product and entitlement information from Apple’s StoreKit service to complete a purchase or restore access. Apple handles purchase information under the Apple Privacy Policy and the terms of your Apple account.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising and do not track you across apps or websites.

Support Messages

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you voluntarily include in your message, such as your email address and problem description. We use it only to answer your request, protect our legal rights, and meet legal obligations. Do not attach private videos unless they are necessary for support and you want us to review them.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no account is required and video processing stays on the device, we do not receive a child’s videos or identity through normal App use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the App or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date above.
